Cancellation/Refund Policy

Due to the commitment to coaches and pitches made in advance, Hockey Mentors CIC
cannot provide refunds once a booking is made.
No-shows cannot be refunded after the event.
However, in exceptional circumstances, we may offer a partial refund, subject to the
following administration fees:
Cancellation notice given before event start date*:- for events (excluding residentials) within
England
● 60 days or more 10% administration fees deductible
● 59 – 31 days 50% administration fees deductible
● Less than 31 days 100% administration fees deductible
Cancellation notice given before event start date*:- for residentials and events outside
England including overseas
● Over 4 months or more 20% administration fees deductible (excluding any non
replacement costs already incurred by Hockey Mentors).
● Between 2 months and 4 months 50% administration fees deductible (excluding any
non replacement costs already incurred by Hockey Mentors).
● Less than 2 months 100% administration fees deductible
NOTES:
* “Event start date” refers to the overall event start date, not the individual day(s) a player is
attending. Therefore, refund calculations are based on the start date of the overall event.
Cancellations of events for reasons outside of our control (weather etc)
For UK camps- we are unable to offer a refund for camps cancelled in the UK due to
weather but will endeavour to offer all participants an alternative date so they can still
participate.
For overseas trips- Overseas trips are run at a loss. If we are unable to participate due to
weather or flight issues, we will aim to compensate participants with any monies returned,
once reasonable expenses have been covered by Hockey Mentors.
