I was delighted when Jack asked me to write a post about our family’s experience with Hockey Mentors writes Lindsey M. It gave me the perfect opportunity to reflect on the incredible experiences all three of our children have had, and continue to have, through the Hockey Mentors programme. High Performance Camp Diary: Annabel M
Annabel M is a state school player who has been in Hockey Mentors for just over a year, attending the HPP/JI training programmes and competing for Hockey Mentors in the domestic/internationals competitions programme. Friday 14th August 2026 - Day 1 10am: Woke up and started getting ready and prepping for the outdoor High Performance Camp at Clifton. Building The High-Performance Programme
Sometimes things happen so quickly that you don’t have time to take stock- building the High Performance Programme (HPP) has certainly been one of those things, writes Hockey Mentors Founder Jack Childs. 130 junior performance players state school and/or ethnic minority from all around the country on a 2-day camp at one of the top private schools in the country feels normal these days.
